I am constantly writing: letters, emails, lists, notes, essays, articles ––even the occasional blog post. I began writing when I was very young and then took a hiatus for a while when I became consumed by the visual world (especially through the lens of my camera). Once upon a time I even wrote poetry, creative prose and short stories. Nowadays I mostly write academic essays, long emails, website and marketing content and other practical pieces, but occasionally I do the odd bit of journalism. One day I’d like to write a novel (a kind of philosophical and semi-academic adventure along the lines of Sophie’s Choice or Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance), and some non-fiction books about a whole raft of subjects I’m interested in.
